Who we are

Our website address is: https://home.absolutemaths.co.uk.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force across Europe on the 25th May 2018.

The GDPR requires that all businesses issue a privacy statement to all clients and contacts regarding any data held about them.

Our company consists of Mr Daniel Mark Hathaway BSc(Hons) PGCE and Mrs Emma Claire Hathaway and we trade as Absolute Maths.

We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

What information do we hold about you or your child and why?

We hold personal names, email addresses, health/medical information and sometimes date of birth/age.  We only hold information that you have provided to us.

You can, at any time, ask us what information we hold, and you can also ask for any information to be deleted at any time.

The only reason we hold this information is for your child’s account, to send Christmas cards and certificates, to send invoices, for our accounts and so that we can do the best by your child by taking their medical needs into account.

All information is stored on our business computer using a firewall, encryption and password protection and no-one apart from Daniel and myself have access to it.

Sharing your information

Apart from us entering your child’s name and an email address on their account online, we DO NOT share your information with any other third party.

If you require a reference at the end of the course and ask in writing, we will be sharing your information with whomever you ask us.

Cancelling your Account

Your account and details will be removed within 1 month of the date of your decision to leave us unless you state otherwise.

Thank you.
